"What is Autofocus mechanism?"
When the forth is applied to the pedal, the chain moves outward. You feel the ring increases the diameter as the chain runs higher on the ring. As amount of moving will fluctuate by the force applied, it maximizes the benefits of non-circular ring, and assists your pedal stroke to remain efficient.
*there is no need of pedal stroke analysis to identify peak point or adjustment of mounting position.
*As positional relation with outer ring is fixed, excellent shifting is ensured.
*Special tooth profile prevents chain-drop.

Super Hill Climb
*Special design, ultralight non-circular chainring perfect for hill climb and long ride.
*Super small inner chainring 32T or 33T not available from SHIMANO offers great performance gain at hill climb.
*Using #804 bolts will ensure that the overall weight will be kept down.

*FC-RS520 which is 12-speed crankset with equivalent features to 105 is not compatible with CY4-SHC-12S.
*Front derailleur needs adjustment.
*CY4-SHC cannot be used with the cranks with Power Meter.

*For inner 32T and 33T gearing setup exceeds drivetrain capacity and may have slack in the chain when crosschained.  The use of Sugino "CAPACITY BOOSTER"- Big Pulley set (sold separately) is required. As CAPACITY BOOSTER works with the standard cage on Shimano derailleur, shifting is just as accurate as it is with the original pulley.

You can use the original bolts that came with your SHIMANO crank or ”804 for SHIMANO" (sold separately).
